The Lost Teddy

The Lost Teddy
Once there was a little child who loved her teddy bear
She always has her teddy bear near her.
Her teddy bear keeps her happy when she’s asleep
The little child was in the bathroom, brushing her teeth
When a little fairy came in and took the little child’s teddy away
To a far away castle that no one knows about it
When the little child had finished doing her teeth, she notice her

Why you tell me

Why you tell me

Why did you tell me you loved me
when you knew you didn't mean it?
Why did you tell me we were meant to be
when even you didn't beleive it?
Why did yo hold me close
but not close to your heart?
Why did you say love grows
when you knew you weren't love smart?
Why did you tell me to leave
after you said all of these things?
Why did you let me believe
your love for me sings?
Why you

I Celebrate My Wife

I Celebrate My WifeWhen you're near me, I feel complete,When you're not, there's a part of me missing.Your loving provides such a treat,There's no one I'd rather be kissing. You're my sweetheart, my love and my life,And that is why I must say,I'm really glad you're my wife,I celebrate you on this day!

Winter’s Embrace

Winter’s EmbraceWhen winter blows its cold breath everywhere,And throws a chill white blanket on the ground,The sun makes sparkling diamonds on the snow,And trees with icy diadems are crowned. It’s time to snuggle in for winter funIn cozy places, maybe by a fire.A good book and some cocoa feel just rightIn flannels, sweaters, winter’s warm attire.Winter’s gloom is comforting somehow,As life

Sisters Heart to Heart

Sisters Heart to HeartFrom the time that we were little,I knew you’d always beNot just a loving sisterBut a caring friend to me.A shoulder I could cry on,A helping hand in times of need,A cheerleader to lift me up,My angel in both word and deed.We told each other secrets,We giggled and we cried. We shared our joys and sorrows,We were always side by side.We have a very special bond,I knew it from

Sweet Spring

Sweet SpringWhen the gloomy gray sky turns to clear azure blue,And the snow disappears from the ground,When the birds start to sing, and our moods start to lift,Then we know Spring is coming around. When the first flower bulbs poke their heads toward the sun,Golden daffodils, hyacinths, too,When the brown grass turns green, and the wildflowers bloom,Then sweet Spring makes its showy debut.Once

Find Your Thankful Self

Find Your Thankful SelfSometimes you feel you're nothing at all,And that's all you'll ever be.You study all your defects,An empty life is all you see.Instead of looking at what you haven't got,Seeing only what you lack,Focus on your blessings,And get right back on track. There are many good things about being you;Count them one by one.Your life has lots of comforts,While others, they have

We Don’t Know Why

We Don’t Know WhyThe twinkling of stars on a balmy night,The gabble of geese as they take flight,A passionate look in your lover’s eye,The graceful ballet of a butterfly.Living on the edge, in a committed way,Facing all challenges day by day,Your life on the line—to do, not just try,Life is exciting—a natural high.Failure and boredom appear in your life,Unhappiness cuts you, just like a knife.“

Thinking of You

Thinking of YouI’m thinking of youWith joy and pleasure,Remembering timesI’ll always treasure. When I think of you,My heart is light,You’re a special person,A sheer delight.Thoughts of you cheer me upWhenever I’m blue,I’m always happyWhen I think of you.I think of you often,In the fondest way,I cherish you moreThan I ever could say.

Good Memories

Good MemoriesYour retirement leaves a great big gapIn all our lives and hearts,A workplace is never quite the sameWhen someone like you departs. You’ve enriched us in so many ways,We’ll miss you more than you know,We wish you luck, and hope you takeGood memories when you go.Alternate ending for funny version:You’re terrific; You’re very special to us,And now that we’ve said that, just go!

Summer Pleasures

Summer PleasuresSunshine beaming golden heatFor lots of fun outdoors,Vacations, for a sweet retreatTo mountains, plains and shores.Kids in constant summer motion,Free from teacher’s rule,Head to toe in suntan lotion,At the beach or pool.Inflatable rafts on which to float,Camping and fishing gear,Rowing or sailing or waterski boat,Tell us summer’s here.Things we can’t do the rest of the yearAre

Please Forgive Me

Please Forgive MeWhen I said what I said, I was wrong,Please forgive me, and let’s start anew. Our relationship means much to me.I’m so sorry my blunder hurt you.Though your memory may bring it back up,Won’t you please try to put it away?I’ll be tactful and sensitive now,I’ll think of your needs every day.Let’s go on with our lives as we were,I’d take it all back if I could.Let’s focus on positive

My Son

My SonMy son, you’re a remarkable person to me,Your good qualities make me feel proud.I don’t give you compliments often enough,But I really should shout them out loud. You're an intelligent, capable, likeable guy,I often admire what you do.You've got a good heart, you help and you care,To your family and friends you are true. You're responsible, trustworthy, faithful and kind,You work hard to do

Where I Live

Where I LiveI live in a place filled with beauty that's rare,That the trees and the animals all get to share. It has mountains and valleys and birds in the air,The place where I live, you might want to live there. The rivers and streams flow to lakes filled with life,And the people can fish, boat and swim, free of strife. The egret and hawk fish, and eagles fish, too,But the lakes are so large

Fall’s Chores

Fall’s ChoresSummer’s getting drowsy now,Soon she will be dozing,Flowers are folding up their heads,Another season’s closing.Fall is waiting in the wings,Impatient to get going,He has a lot of work to do,Before it’s time for snowing."I have to paint the leaves," he says,"In shades of red and gold,And send the geese along their wayBefore it gets too cold."I’ll ripen pumpkins on the vine,For sweet
